Position Overview:
 A&N Services LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy machinery used in industrial and construction environments. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively within a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, forklifts, skid steers, or backhoes as required for the job.

  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.

  • Load, move, and grade materials according to project specifications.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to meet job requirements.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

  • Report any equipment issues, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Perform basic maintenance or assist mechanics with repairs when needed.

  • Comply with all A&N Services and OSHA safety policies and site procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial, commercial, or construction setting.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

  • Familiarity with operating various types of machinery and equipment attachments.

  • Knowledge of job site safety protocols and procedures.

  • Ability to read and follow site plans and supervisor directions.

  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.

  • OSHA or NCCER certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Work in hot, cold, or confined environments as needed.
