Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a safety-minded and dependable Hole Watch to join our team. The Hole Watch is responsible for monitoring workers in confined spaces to ensure their safety, maintain communication, and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with OSHA standards and A&N Services’ safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant watch over personnel working inside confined spaces.

• Ensure proper permits, ventilation, and safety equipment are in place before entry.

• Continuously monitor air quality levels and report unsafe conditions immediately.

• Keep clear communication with workers inside the confined space at all times.

• Prevent unauthorized entry into confined spaces.

• Alert workers and supervisors of any hazardous situations or emergencies.

• Know and follow emergency response procedures in the event of an incident.

• Record and log confined space activities as required by company policy.

• Support the overall safety culture and assist with additional safety duties as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Hole Watch, Fire Watch, or Safety Attendant preferred.

• Must have valid Confined Space Entry/Attendant training (certification preferred).

• Strong awareness of safety procedures and emergency response.

• Reliable, alert, and able to maintain focus for long periods.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be able to work outdoors and in industrial environments.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or sit for extended periods.

• Work in hot, cold, or confined spaces as needed.

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
